The project consists in sharing the gestures in the 3 regions to be able to answer the question “What is the most important gesture for you today?”. These gestures come from all audiences, and will be transformed, taken ownership by, and choreographed by the 3 companies, and finally be filmed in the streets of the town of Sérignan.
Following the call for project proposals by the Eurorégion Pyrénées Méditerranée, our artistic proposal was selected allowing us to produce the show with our collaborators from the Moveo company in Catalonia and Mariantonia Olivier in the Balearic Islands. This project experiments with a new way of meeting and collaborating between artists, other ways of working with, and above all, a way of being connected with the inhabitants of the 3 regions.
The question posed by the Euroregion proposal is: how to and what kind of artistic formats to offer in the wake of the health crisis that is impacting our lives and our movements?
Our answer is an attempt to maintain a state of openness, exchange and observation, to remain united.
How to stay connected with our audiences, how to adapt, invent, re-enchant our ways of working and distributing our performance pieces?
How to be part of the new impulse?
How to continue being together, and come together to share something in common?
